PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE

Welcome to Yuille Park Community College, Grevillea Campus. The Grevillea Campus employs innovative teaching strategies and over time have changed the traditional class structure to create student -learning communities. These learning communities for Grades Prep-2, 3-5, and 6-8 promote interaction between students across year levels and enables exposure to wider educational choices as well as encouraging engagement and mentoring opportunities.

At Yuille Park Community College we are proud of our achievements in providing a diverse and inclusive teaching and learning environment for all students in which they feel, safe and motivated to be highly successful.

In order for each student to achieve their full potential parents, teachers and students must work together cooperatively therefore everything we do has a strong emphasis and focus on ‘doing with’ not ‘doing to’.

Our vision is to achieve continuous improvement in learning outcomes thus maximising opportunities for the development of lifelong learning skills.

We believe that all students can and will learn effectively, grow in confidence and self-esteem through achieving success in curriculum areas, acquiring decision making and problem solving skills and learning to operate effectively as a team member. We achieve this by promoting the values of respect, cooperation, trust and an appreciation of the diversity within the school community.

We value an environment where every student from Kindergarten to Year 8 have an opportunity to learn in a modern facility with highly trained and committed staff.
